Why Folio Bay

Built for How Drafters Actually Work

Outline-Driven Structure

The editor enforces document hierarchy from the start — sections, sub-sections, and clauses stay in logical order throughout your drafting session.

Version Snapshots

Capture the state of any document at any point. Compare snapshots side by side, and restore a previous version without losing subsequent edits.

Threaded Comments

Feedback stays anchored to the specific clause or paragraph it concerns. No more cross-referencing emails with document versions.

Flexible Export Profiles

Define export templates for Word and PDF once, then apply them to any document. Consistent formatting across your output without manual reformatting.

Controlled Access

Role-based permissions determine who can draft, review, or approve. Clause library edits require authorised access — keeping your standards intact.

Audit-Ready Exports

Every edit, comment resolution, and approval action is logged. Export the audit trail in structured format whenever compliance or review requires it.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of documents does the structured editor support?
The editor is designed around hierarchical documents — contracts, policies, agreements, internal procedures, and regulatory submissions. Any document that benefits from numbered sections, sub-clauses, and cross-references fits well within the structure Folio Bay provides.
How does the clause library work across a team?
The Team Workspace Plan includes a shared clause library where authorised users can add, version, and retire clauses. Drafters pull approved clauses directly into their documents. Any change to a clause is versioned, and prior versions remain accessible. Access to edit or approve clauses is controlled by role assignment.
What does the Custom Clause Library Setup engagement include?
The engagement covers content sessions with your drafting team to understand your existing clause inventory, naming conventions, and approval workflow. We then configure the taxonomy and drafting guidance inside your workspace, and hand over a maintenance document so your team can manage updates independently going forward.
How are version snapshots different from edit history?
Edit history records individual changes automatically. Snapshots are deliberate captures — you take one when a draft reaches a meaningful state (e.g. "sent for review", "post-negotiation"). Snapshots can be compared side by side and restored without overwriting the current draft.
Which storage and identity systems does Folio Bay integrate with?
The Team Workspace Plan includes integration endpoints for common document storage platforms and identity providers. Specific setup notes for each supported system are available in the product documentation. Contact us to confirm compatibility with the systems your team uses before signing up.
What export formats are available, and can we define templates?
The Solo Drafter Plan includes standard exports to Word (.docx) and PDF. The Team Workspace Plan adds export profiles — reusable templates that apply specific formatting, header/footer content, and numbering styles to your output. Profiles can be configured per document type and applied consistently across the team.
How does pricing work — is it per seat or per workspace?
The Solo Drafter Plan is priced per seat at HKD 880. The Team Workspace Plan is priced at HKD 7,500 per month and covers a defined seat count — contact us to confirm seat and environment limits for your team. The Custom Clause Library Setup is a one-time engagement priced at HKD 4,200.
